Announcements:

- Tentative class meeting time is Wednesday, 8:00-10:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).  At the first class meeting (Jan. 10), there will be a discussion and vote on the permanent meeting time. 

- Please make sure you are signed up for the right section. Section 2836 ('on-campus') is for in-state students, and section 2821 ('web') is for out-of-state students. 

- Enrollment will not be accepted after Week 3. You must be enrolled in the UF Classics distance-learning graduate program to take this class.

 Grading: your grade will be based as follows on the completion of weekly assignments and 'classroom' discussions/critiques of answers to the assignments.

   1. Satisfactory (and punctual) completion of assignments: 70%

   2. Discussion/critiques of answers to assignments: 30%

   90-100     A

   88-89       B+

   80-87       B

   78-79       C+

   70-77       C

   68-69       D+

   60-67       D

   0-59         F
