| During his life time there appear to have been no diagrams illustrating how Tycho intended his model to work in detail. Below I have attempted show what these details might look like. There is some room for speculation. But the following diagram, drawn by the author, should be a fair guess at what Tycho probably intended. |
| In the diagram above it must be emphasized that Earth is at the center of the celestial sphere (not illustrated) and again, the Moon and Sun are understood to revolve around the central stationary earth. The point to emphasize about the diagram is the detail and complexity of the model not generally shown in modern textbooks. |
