The University of Florida provides an excellent opportunity for students to observe heavenly bodies and to contemplate the celestial motions.  Want to view the skies with an excellent telescope?  It's easy.  On Friday nights (weather permitting) the Department of Astronomy sponsors telescopic viewing sessions with the assistance of excellent instruments and a helpful trained staff.  Sessions take place at the Student Observatory (east of the new Physics Building) on Fridays from 8.30 - 10.00pm Friday evenings.  For further information call 392.2052.  Dress warm, bring a date and a small flashlight.  See you there.
