    Course Description

Geography 5605 is the graduate number that coincides with Geo 3602. Enrollment in Geo 5605 offers graduate students the ability to receive graduate credit for "Urban and Business Geography" which is otherwise an undergraduate class. Other than the term paper being a requirement, Geo 5605 and Geo 3602 are the same courses.

Geo 5605 is not recommended for students who have completed Geo 3602 or its equivalent.

Geo 5605 is recommended for graduate students who have chosen to pursue studies related to Urban and Business Geography, but did not have the opportunity to complete Geo 3602 or its equivalent as an undergraduate. Geo 3602 or its equivalent is a prerequisite for enrollment in the core Business Geography stream, including Geo 5157 "GIS For Economic Geography and Business Decisions," and Geo 6509 "Seminar In Business Geography."
