| There are any number of geocentric (earth-centered) models of planetary motion. Because the geocentric perspective is so rooted in common sense, and because that perspective dominated the intellectual landscape until at least the Scientific Revolution, it would be possible to supply hundreds of different illustrations and applications of such models.
