SPA 6506 - Initial Clinical Experience in Audiology

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to provide the student clinician with initial clinical experiences as well as professionalism skills to prepare them for a career in Audiology.  After completing this course the student should be able to communicate more effectively, demonstrate and adhere to infection control procedures in the clinical environment, understand standards of professional conduct and be better prepared to accept their professional responsibilities as student clinicians within our Au.D. program.


COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

SPA 5051 is a lecture and discussion course.  The course grade will be based on performance in assigned clinics, LWHL class and professional topics seminar.
