        We will be reading selections from a variety of Greek authors from the Archaic through the Roman periods. Our goal is to reinforce grammatical concepts, to improve reading skills in ancient Greek, and to help students become acquainted with the breadth of ancient Greek literature. PLEASE NOTE: READINGS FOR THIS CLASS ARE IN ANCIENT GREEK; ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE FIRST-YEAR GREEK SEQUENCE (GRE1130 & 1131) TO REGISTER.

evaluation
class participation = 10% of total grade weekly quizzes (non-cumulative); 6% each = 60% of total grade exams (non-cumulative); 15% each = 30% of total grade
