some excellent papers submitted to Judaism and Politics when it was
last offered. They cover a range of topics with very different
approaches but they all share some important similarities that you
should emulate. Each one offers a clear take on a problem, relates the
case study to the general themes of the course, and draws on first-rate
scholarship. They are also well-written and properly documented. None
of them is perfect, of course, but they are good models. (Note: All
