Here is the story of a two young lovers in Yucatan, Mexico.  She is a Mayan girl from the city of Ticul in inland Yucatan. In Ticul, the Mayan language is spoken along with Spanish on a daily basis. He is from the largest city in Southeastern Mexico: Mérida, the capital of the state of Yucatan, where Mayan is  mainly spoken by the lower socio-economic classes.  Her name is Isabel Alicia Cochuah and he is Fransisco Felipe Mazanero Espinoza.  Will their love be able to survive despite the odds?
