Kinship
Our field experiment will include participant observation of a typical
yacatacan family. The family under study is the Rivas de Rosado family
(Alexis's host family). As a group, we will attend Sunday dinner at the
Rosado household, where the majority of the extended family will be present.
Our group will record observations, photograph family interactions and
conduct interviews, in order to provide a complete investigation into the
kinship of a typical yucatacan family.
