The University of Florida Department of English seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Composition & Rhetoric (Ph.D. in hand) with an active research agenda in writing studies. Possible emphases include composition theory, visual rhetorics, and digital literacies. The successful candidate will join a theoretically oriented faculty with strengths in cultural studies, film and media studies, and literature, and will contribute to a strong graduate program (M.A. and Ph.D.) as well as to a large undergraduate major.

Teaching load is 2/2, and salary is competitive. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in hand, an active research agenda, and preferably also have some experience in writing program administration.
