CLAS Assembly Minutes

September 29, 2005

  1. Dean Sullivan called the Assembly to order shortly after 4:00.
  2. Dean Sullivan introduced the new Chairs:
    • Ken Sassaman, Anthropology
    • Robert Wagman, Classics
    • Christine Sapienza, Communication Sciences & Disorders
    • Dragan Kujundzic, Germanic& Slavic Studies

      He also introduced new Directors:
    • Jack Kugelmass, Jewish Studies
    • Caroline Wiltshire, Linguistics
    • Millie Pena, Women's Studies
    • The President Pro Tempore for the 2005-06 academic year, Scott McCullough, Mathematics was introduced.
  3. Dean Sullivan invited Chairs and Directors to present their new faculty to the Assembly. Those new colleagues introduced were:
