Asian Studies Research Award

Deadline: February 26, 2007, 4pm

2 awards of $1,000 each will be available.

All UF departments and disciplines are eligible. The successful candidate will be:

•  a UF undergraduate in good standing

•  pursuing a research project directly related to Asia

•  accepted by a faculty supervisor for Senior Thesis research

•  3.5 GPA or above (implicit in Senior Thesis requirement)

Applications must include:

•  Cover sheet (available at Asian Studies Office, 3312 Turlington Hall, or by download)

•  Project description (2-3 pp.)

•  Letter of Support from Senior Thesis advisor

•  Letter of Recommendation from one additional faculty member

•  Current UF transcript (dated during Fall 2005)

Completed applications should be turned into 3312 Turlington Hall

Incomplete and late applications may not be considered.
