Lecture Series - 2005"Gods and Ancestors in Early China."Dr. Michael Puett of Harvard University Ph.D., Department of Anthropology at University of Chicago , 1994; authors of two influential books The Ambivalence of Creation (Stanford University Press, 2001) and To Become a God: Cosmology, Sacrifice, and self-divinization in early China ( Harvard University Asia Center and the Harvard-Yenching Institute, 2002) and numerous journal articles. His research interests focus primarily on the intellectual and cultural history of early China , but he is also interested in early Chinese literature, philosophy, and religion. |
